CLASSIC COMPETITIONS LTD – COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“T&Cs”)

1. THE PROMOTER

1.1 The promoter of all competitions displayed on our website (“Website”) is Classic Competitions Ltd (“Classic Competitions”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

1.4 These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to every competition promoted on our Website.

1.5 By entering any competition, you agree to be legally bound by these T&Cs and any competition-specific rules shown on the relevant competition page.

1.6 We reserve the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. The latest version will always be available on our Website.

2. THE COMPETITION

2.1 Details of each competition, including prize information, ticket price, closing date, and any maximum entry limits, will be displayed on the relevant competition page (“Competition Page”).

2.2 Each competition will run until the stated closing date and time (“Closing Date”).

2.3 All entries received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified.

3. HOW TO ENTER

There are two methods of entry:

A. Paid Online Entry

3.1 Entrants may purchase entries online via the Competition Page.

3.2 Each paid entry receives a unique entry number (“Entry Number”).

3.3 Entrants must create a free account on the Website before purchasing entries.

3.4 Payments are non-refundable unless the competition is cancelled by us.

B. Free Postal Entry

3.5 Entrants may enter for free by post in accordance with Schedule 1 of these T&Cs.

3.6 Each valid postal entry will receive one Entry Number.

3.7 Postal entrants must also create a free online account before entries can be processed.

3.8 Postal entries are treated equally to paid entries and have the same chance of winning.

4. THE DRAW

4.1 Winners will be selected at random using either:

  •  a random number generator; or 
  •  a live draw conducted on social media. 

4.2 Draws will usually take place within 7 days of the Closing Date.

4.3 Winning Entry Numbers will be published on the relevant Competition Page.

5. CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES

5.1 We reserve the right to:

  •  cancel; 
  •  extend; 
  •  suspend; or 
  •  amend 

a competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

5.2 If a competition is cancelled, all paid entries will be refunded.

6. ELIGIBILITY

6.1 Competitions are open only to residents of:

  •  England 
  •  Scotland 
  •  Wales 
  •  Northern Ireland 

who are aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

6.2 Employees, agents, contractors, and immediate family members of Classic Competitions Ltd are not permitted to enter.

6.3 We may require proof of:

  •  identity; 
  •  age; and 
  •  address 

before awarding a prize.

6.4 We reserve the right to disqualify entries that:

  •  are incomplete; 
  •  are illegible; 
  •  are submitted using automated methods; 
  •  involve multiple identities; or 
  •  breach these T&Cs. 

7. ENTRY LIMITS

7.1 Individual competitions may have maximum entry limits per person.

7.2 Any attempt to circumvent entry limits may result in disqualification.

8. THE PRIZE

8.1 The prize for each competition will be described on the Competition Page.

8.2 Where stated, a cash alternative may be offered.

8.3 The winner must notify us within 5 working days if they wish to accept a cash alternative.

8.4 Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable unless agreed otherwise by us.

8.5 We reserve the right to substitute a prize with a similar prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

9. WINNER NOTIFICATION

9.1 Winners will be contacted using the email address or telephone number linked to their account.

9.2 Winners may also be announced publicly on our Website and social media channels.

9.3 By entering, you agree that we may publish:

  •  your first name; 
  •  surname initial; and 
  •  county or town of residence 

for promotional and transparency purposes.

10. CLAIMING THE PRIZE

10.1 Winners must claim their prize within 21 days of being notified.

10.2 If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim the prize within this period, we reserve the right to redraw the prize.

10.3 Delivery of prizes may take up to 14 days unless otherwise stated.

10.4 Delivery costs will normally be covered by us unless otherwise stated.

11. VEHICLE PRIZES

11.1 Where the prize is a vehicle:

  •  ownership will be transferred using DVLA procedures; 
  •  the winner is responsible for insurance and road tax once ownership is transferred. 

11.2 We accept no responsibility for the vehicle after delivery or collection.

12. LIABILITY

12.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Classic Competitions Ltd shall not be liable for:

  •  loss; 
  •  damage; 
  •  injury; or 
  •  disappointment 

arising from participation in a competition or acceptance of a prize.

12.2 Nothing in these T&Cs excludes liability for:

  •  death or personal injury caused by negligence; 
  •  fraud; or 
  •  any liability which cannot legally be excluded. 

13. DATA PROTECTION

13.1 We will process personal data in accordance with UK data protection laws.

13.2 By entering a competition, you consent to us using your personal information for:

  •  administration of competitions; 
  •  contacting winners; and 
  •  promotional communications where consent has been provided. 

13.3 Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

14. WEBSITE USE

14.1 Users must not:

  •  misuse the Website; 
  •  attempt unauthorised access; 
  •  upload malicious software; or 
  •  interfere with Website operations. 

14.2 We reserve the right to suspend accounts involved in fraudulent or abusive behaviour.

15. GENERAL

15.1 Our decisions relating to competitions are final.

15.2 We reserve the right to refuse or disqualify any entry where we reasonably suspect a breach of these T&Cs.

15.3 If any provision of these T&Cs is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid.

15.4 These T&Cs are governed by the laws of Scotland and the Scottish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

SCHEDULE 1 – FREE POSTAL ENTRY ROUTE

To enter by post, entrants must:

  1.  Create a free account on the Website. 
  2.  Send one postcard per entry containing: 
  •  Full name 
  •  Date of birth 
  •  Postal address 
  •  Email address 
  •  Telephone number 
  •  Name of the competition

  1.  Postal entries must arrive before the Closing Date. 
  2.  Only one entry per postcard is permitted. 
  3.  Postal entries that are illegible, incomplete, or late will not be entered. 
  4.  Proof of posting is not proof of delivery. 

SCHEDULE 2 – FORCE MAJEURE

Classic Competitions Ltd shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control including but not limited to:

  •  natural disasters; 
  •  fire; 
  •  flood; 
  •  pandemic; 
  •  war; 
  •  terrorism; 
  •  government restrictions; 
  •  postal disruption; 
  •  utility failures; or 
  •  technical failures.

Use of our Website is entirely at your own risk.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Website content, branding, graphics, logos, and text remain the property of Classic Competitions Ltd unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied or reused without permission.

3. EXTERNAL LINKS

Our Website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or availability.

4. SECURITY

Users must not knowingly introduce:

  •  viruses; 
  •  malware; 
  •  trojans; or 
  •  harmful code 

to the Website.

5. GOVERNING LAW

These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
